Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is set to be out of action for the next five weeks, according to the Telegraph.
Pogba hobbled off injured in the first-half of Manchester United’s 3-0 Champions League win over Basel two weeks ago.
The report now confirms the extent of the injury. Pogba will be out of action for at least five week, with a hamstring strain, and is set to miss the next two international breaks.
This means that the midfielder would have missed over a month of action by the time he returns.
United swept Basel aside in the opening game of the group. Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford scored the goals as they cruised to three points, with Pogba’s injury the dampener.
Unite dare currently second in the Premier League on goal difference, to rivals Manchester City.
Pogba had started the season brilliantly, scoring against Swansea and West Ham last month.
