Theresa May has condemned U.S. President Donald Trump for retweeting inflammatory videos about Muslims from a leader of the British far-right.
The Prime Minister said via a spokesperson that it was “wrong” for Trump to have broadcast the footage to his 46 million Twitter followers this morning.
Trump reposted three videos by Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of Britain First, the UK’s most well-known far-right group.
A spokesperson told journalists: “Britain First seeks to divide communities and cause anxiety to law abiding people.”
The spokesperson added: “It is wrong for the President to have done this.”
