Police have launched a murder probe after three men were stabbed in London this evening.
One of the men died at the scene, while the others have been rushed to hospital.
The incident happened at 7.21pm on Warham Street, SE5 in Camberwell.
According to Scotland Yard, officers arrived at the scene where they found three men who had been stabbed.
London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance were also at the scene.
A Met spokeswoman said: ‘Despite the best efforts of medical staff, one of the men, died at the scene. Officers are in the process of informing his next-of-kin.
‘The two other males have been taken to hospital where we await updates on their conditions.
‘A crime scene is in place.
‘Two men were arrested close to the scene on suspicion of murder.
‘They remain in police custody.’
The attack happened on the same street where 17-year-old Rhyhiem Ainsworth Barton was found with a fatal gunshot wound in May this year.
At the time Rhyhiem’s mother Pretana Morgan called for a halt in the wave of violence in the capital.
She said: ‘Let my son be the last and be an example to everyone. Just let it stop. What must be, must be.
‘It’s not about race, it’s not about nation, it’s not about culture. Nothing. It’s just a human race.
‘Just one human race. So children, please let my son be the last.’
