Cyprus extends flight ban until May 17

Cyprus` Cabinet has decided to extend a flight ban, which has been in place in the context of measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, until May 17.

The decision which was taken during the Cabinet`s meeting on Thursday was announced on Friday by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works.

The Council of Ministers, a Transport Ministry press release says, decided that the flight ban which has been in effect according to a decree issued on April 18, will be extended from Thursday April 20 until Sunday May 17, 2020.
