With great success and a festive atmosphere, the 16th International Peloponnesus Film Festival – BRIDGES opened yesterday in Corinth, marking the beginning of a week filled with cinema, art, and cultural events from around the world.
The evening began with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Corinth, filling the venue with cinematic melodies and energy, setting a joyful tone for the event. This was followed by an impressive dance performance by the Folklore Foundation of Corinth, taking the audience on a journey through traditional rhythms and colors of Greek cultural heritage.

Art Exhibition: “Art and Technology with a Holistic Approach”
At the same time, the festival inaugurated its Art Exhibition under the theme “Art and Technology with a Holistic Approach.”
Artists Giorgos Tryfonas, Eva Terzi, Eleni Kehagioglou, Eva Sarandea, Anna Van Brussel, Stavros Banos, and Marina Papanagotaki presented works exploring the modern relationship between humanity and technology through artistic and philosophical perspectives.

Artistic Director Petra Terzi emphasized the importance of art as a bridge of communication, cooperation, and peace among nations.
