London Underground casualty on track shuts Finsbury Park station

A casualty on the tracks has shut a major Tube station in North London this morning (December 27). Passengers were ushered out of Finsbury Park station at around 10.45am as emergency crews flooded the scene.

Victoria line trains are currently not running between King’s Cross and Seven Sisters as a result. There are also severe delays on the rest of the line.

Tickets are being accepted on London Buses at no extra cost, Transport for London (TfL) has confirmed. Football fans heading to the Arsenal v Brighton game at Emirates Stadium ahead of 3pm kick-off are advised to allow extra time for their journey.

The British Transport Police, London Ambulance Service and TfL have been contacted for more information.
