Australian retail and wholesale veteran Angela Skrinos has turned 35 years of industry experience into a triple award-winning business model, securing three honours at the 2026 AusMumpreneur Awards.
The founder of Raglan Fashion Warehouse Sales and MelbourneSecretSales.com.au received:
- Gold – Fashion & Textiles Award
- Silver – Business Excellence Award
- Bronze – People’s Choice: Making a Difference Business Award
The awards recognise Skrinos’ work connecting wholesalers and brands seeking to clear excess inventory with consumers looking for affordable fashion, homewares and other products.
Through large-scale warehouse and clearance sales, she helps businesses move discontinued and end-of-season stock, free up warehouse space and turn unsold inventory back into cash.
“To win three awards is incredibly special, but what means the most to me is that they recognise the different sides of what we do; fashion, business excellence and making a difference,” Skrinos said.
“For 35 years, I have believed that stock needs to move. When products are sitting in boxes in a warehouse, the wholesaler has money tied up that they can’t use, while at the same time there are consumers who would love the opportunity to buy those products at a price they can afford.
“We bring those two sides together and by doing so we are helping to keep Australia’s retail industry alive.”

Through Melbourne Secret Sales, consumers receive information about warehouse and clearance events across fashion, furniture, homewares, beauty, electrical goods and other categories.
Skrinos said the model had become increasingly important as cost-of-living pressures prompted shoppers to seek greater value.
“People still want beautiful clothes, things for their homes and quality products, but they are increasingly looking for value,” she said.
“Warehouse sales can give consumers access to products they may not have been able to justify at full retail price. For families watching every dollar, being able to find a genuine bargain can make a meaningful difference.”
Skrinos said excess inventory could place significant pressure on wholesalers because money tied up in unsold goods could not be reinvested in new ranges, staff, marketing or business growth.
“People see a warehouse full of products and think that business has a lot of assets however I see money sitting on shelves,” she said.
“When we clear that stock, we are not simply selling discounted products, we are helping a wholesaler free up cash and warehouse space so they can move forward.”
The recognition follows a challenging period in which COVID-19 forced Skrinos to adapt a business model that had relied heavily on physical sales and events. She expanded the business’s digital presence, strengthened its consumer network and moved into new product categories and locations.
“COVID was one of the toughest periods of my career because it showed how quickly circumstances outside your control can turn a business upside down,” she said.
“That is why the Business Excellence and Making a Difference awards mean so much to me. This business is not just about selling things, it is about solving problems for businesses while creating genuine value for consumers.”
Skrinos said Melbourne Secret Sales was now expanding beyond Victoria as the business pursued opportunities across Australia.
“After 35 years, I’m still as passionate about retail as I was when I started,” she said.
“Retail is constantly changing, but one thing never changes. Businesses need customers and customers want value. My job is to bring them together.”
