In an atmosphere of emotion, inspiration and social responsibility, the annual event of MSG GROUP COMPANIES was held under the auspices of UNESCO Piraeus & Islands and International Action Art.
It was an evening that highlighted how true development is not limited to business success but is fulfilled when accompanied by social impact and human values, with the ultimate destination being the support of the organization “The Smile of the Child.”
The event brought together personalities from the fields of politics, business, culture and the media, creating an environment of dialogue and cooperation around the concept of responsible entrepreneurship.
The evening was presented by Clelia Charissis, Journalist and Director of Literature & Arts of UNESCO Piraeus & Islands, who through a thoughtful, meaningful and deeply human narrative highlighted the company’s philosophy: that behind every great project stand people who choose to build not only infrastructures, but also values.
With a speech that balanced journalistic precision and emotional storytelling, the presenter emphasized the essential message of the evening: that behind every project, every installation and every business success are people who invest not only in technology, but also in the values that illuminate the future.
The central hosts of the event were Dionysis Nikolis, CEO and Co-Founder of MSG Electrical Installations, and Markos Matthaiou, CTO and Co-Founder of MSG Electrical Installations (MSG Group)—two individuals who have connected the company’s course with projects of high expertise and major energy infrastructures, while maintaining a strong commitment to social responsibility.
During his speech , Mr. Dionysis Nikolis warmly welcomed the attendees, emphasizing that this annual gathering is not merely a typical corporate event, but a meaningful meeting of people who share common values, trust and a common path.
As he noted, MSG Electrical Installations is not only a company of projects and infrastructure; it is a community of people who build relationships, partnerships and vision for the future every day.
With particular emotion, he referred to the company’s partners, suppliers and sponsors, whom he described as key pillars of its journey, stressing that every step forward is the result of collective effort and mutual trust.
Special mention was made of the company’s human resources, noting that MSG Electrical Installations currently employs 270 people — 270 families, 270 personal stories, 270 reasons for the company to continue moving forward with even greater responsibility and determination.
As he emphasized, the company’s successes and future goals do not belong to one person alone, but to everyone who works daily with dedication, professionalism and integrity.
Mr. Nikolis also highlighted the importance of social contribution, noting that business development acquires real value when accompanied by responsibility toward society.
For this reason, as he stated, the evening’s event had a deeper purpose, as its net proceeds were dedicated to supporting the organization “The Smile of the Child,” actively strengthening its long-standing and multifaceted work.
As he characteristically remarked:
“Being the CEO of such a company is not easy. You may not always do the production work yourself, but you go to sleep with a problem and wake up with a solution.”
Concluding his speech, he summarized the philosophy with which MSG Group continues its journey, recalling a phrase that, as he said, deeply expresses the meaning of leadership:
“Leadership is not about walking ahead of 270 people; it is about walking among them so that no one is left behind.”
The event was honored by the presence of representatives from the political, business and journalistic communities, confirming the prestige and significance of the initiative.
Among the distinguished guests were:
• Iakovos Roussos, Mayor of Anafi
• Dr. Georgios Georgiou, Director General of Fiscal Audits of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance and Chairman of the Audit Coordination Committee (ESEL)
• Konstantinos Damigos, President of the Athens Chamber of Crafts

• Cleanthis Aktenizoglou, CEO & President of Solergon S.A.
• Charbel Chachine, CEO of Suites of the Gods Santorini
• Panagiotis Sfaelos, Secretary General of the Association of European Journalists, among others.
A particularly important moment of the evening was the presence of Ioannis Maronitis, President of the Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Organizations of Europe and North America and President of International Action Art, who through his presence and the official awards presented on behalf of the organization highlighted the importance of linking business activity with culture, social responsibility and humanitarian values.
As emphasized in his speech, the presence of UNESCO Piraeus & Islands and International Action Art serves as a reminder that progress without culture and social awareness remains incomplete—and that business development is fulfilled when it serves humanity and society.
The evening began with the SONG of the MSG Group corporate song (lyrics by Dionysis Nikolis and music by Melody Lab) and continued with the traditional cutting of the New Year’s cake, blessed by Reverend Father Christoforos, in a symbolic moment of unity and gratitude for the new year.
A particularly important part of the event was the charity raffle, organized with a purely philanthropic purpose. All proceeds from this initiative were dedicated to supporting “The Smile of the Child,” an organization that for many years has stood beside children in need of protection, care and hope.
A deeply moving moment of the evening was the presence of Konstantinos Giannopoulos, President of The Smile of the Child, who delivered an official address during the event. With a deeply human and meaningful speech, he highlighted the true value and mission of the organization, reminding everyone that behind each of its actions lie real stories of children who need support, protection and hope.
His presence and speech gave an even deeper symbolism to the evening, transforming the participation of the attendees into a collective act of solidarity and meaningful social contribution.
During the event, honorary distinctions were also presented by MSG Group, recognizing individuals whose journeys have left a significant social impact.
Among the official awards, a distinction was also presented to Anastasios Chatzitheofanous, owner of BCI Media Group, in recognition of his long-standing support and significant media contribution to promoting the event and its social purpose.
Special mention was also made of the “unsung heroes” of the event, particularly Nikolaos Chionis, Lieutenant General (ret.) and Honorary Director of Special Forces, for his discreet yet essential contribution and support to the success of the evening.
The artistic part of the event was enriched by the Cretan Folklore Dance Association “Apteraioi”, led by its president Georgios Klothakis, who contributed significantly to creating an authentic Cretan atmosphere. With passion and vibrant energy, he initiated the dances, drawing the audience into the rhythm of Cretan tradition, while traditional mantinades (Cretan poetic couplets) were recited during the evening, conveying the strength, soul and poetic expression of Cretan culture.
The event concluded in a festive atmosphere, confirming that when entrepreneurship meets culture, social responsibility and contribution, something much stronger than a successful corporate journey is created: a meaningful impact on society.
Because ultimately, as the evening highlighted:
“The greatest investment is not only in the projects that are built, but in the smiles that are created.”
