Halloumi cheese production as PDO uncertain ahead of meeting with PoR
Halloumi cheese production as a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) product is uncertain, since cheese makers decided to cease operations from January 10 thus reacting to a decree to increase the goat and sheep milk ratio in halloumi to 19%.
