Greek Achievements Shine at the Artista Achievers Awards 2025 Honors for Journalists Lena Kyropoulos and Dimitrios Kannavos – Third International Award for Actress Vicky Dalli* The Artista Achievers Awards 2025 concluded with a spectacular celebration of global talent, recognizing outstanding achievements across journalism, cinema and cultural creativity.

This year’s ceremony highlighted a strong Greek presence, with distinguished awards that underscored the growing international influence of Greek professionals. Two respected members of the Union of European Journalists – Greek Section, Lena Kyropoulos and Dimitrios Kannavos, were honored for their contribution to journalism, their professionalism, and their long-standing commitment to accurate and responsible reporting. Their awards reflect the increasing visibility of Greek journalism on the world stage and its essential role in modern media. Due to professional obligations, Dimitrios Kannavos was unable to attend the event in person.

Representing him with grace and dignity was the well-known Greek-American actress Vicky Dalli, who accepted the award on his behalf. In her remarks, Dalli conveyed Kannavos’ heartfelt appreciation to the organizers and emphasized the importance of authentic journalism in a rapidly changing global information landscape.
