All Ministers of the Cyprus government who have not yet been vaccinated, will get the AstraZeneca vaccine on Thursday, Government Spokesman Kyriakos Koushos announced today.

According to Koushos the vaccinations with the AstraZeneca vaccine, aims to signal a vote of confidence for the vaccine, in relation to its safety and effectiveness.

The vaccination of the members of the Cabinet will take place tomorrow, Thursday, at 9 a.m.

The Spokesman also said that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Christodoulides, will get the jab on Monday, April 19, due to his absence abroad.
