The 6th Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon welcomed 11,000 runners on Sunday 19 November including Cypriot superstar Anna Vissi!
Starting at Finikoudes beach, athletes from 85 countries took part in the biggest sports celebration on the island, participating in one of its 7 routes.
A ceremony was held at Europe Square during the event, where Vissi was declared Larnaca 2030 ambassador by the city’s mayor.
The singer, born in Larnaka, expressed her pride in the city’s growth and development. She thanked the mayor for the opportunity to become the ambassador for the cultural initiative, believing in the city’s potential to achieve this honour.
