Athens to Host the second Global Vision Summit: “Celebrating Excellence Across Borders”

Athens: The Writers Capital International Foundation, in collaboration with Writers International Edition, Writers Edition – The Complete Online Magazine, and the Academy International Language & Translation Centre, is pleased to announce the Global Vision Summit II – 2025, an international interdisciplinary conference and cultural symposium scheduled to take place in Athens, Greece.

This three-day global event, held under the central theme “Celebrating Excellence Across Borders,” will convene distinguished personalities from across the world, including cultural ambassadors, academics, educators, scientists, entrepreneurs, and humanitarians. The Summit aims to honour individuals who have made outstanding contributions to society, while fostering cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration.

The programme includes an International Conference with keynote addresses and thematic panels centred around “Water – The Drop of Life,” drawing attention to one of the most pressing global concerns—our environmental future. A Literary and Artistic Symposium will celebrate poetic and artistic expressions from different cultures, while the Official Awards Ceremony will recognise global excellence through the Global Icon Awards, Panorama International Literature & Arts Awards, and Excellence Awards.

A highlight of the event will be a classical music concert by the Raptis Conservatory of Paleo Faliro, conducted by Maestro Takis Nikolis, offering an artistic interlude that harmonises with the spirit of the Summit. The Summit will also feature the launch of new publications by Writers International Edition, including Jalam, a global anthology dedicated to the theme of water, envisioned by Prof. Preeth Nambiar, Founder and President of the Writers Capital International Foundation.

Speaking about the Summit, Prof. Nambiar stated that promoting excellence, cultural exchange, and values such as altruism, equality, and solidarity is crucial—especially today, when global peace is so brutally threatened. Education and culture remain the most powerful vehicles for building a harmonious coexistence among nations.
Prof. Irene Doura-Kavadia, Secretary-General of the Foundation and Vice-President of the Summit, added that Athens continues to serve as a vital centre for global intellectual and cultural exchange. This Summit not only celebrates human achievement but also strengthens the values of unity, dialogue, and mutual respect—under the enduring light of the Hellenic spirit.

The Global Vision Summit II – 2025 is being held under the auspices of the Region of Attica and the Municipality of Vari–Voula–Vouliagmeni, as well as the Club for UNESCO Arts, Letters and Sciences, is supported by leading cultural and academic partners including Panorama International Literature & Arts Festivals, Panorama Book Festival, Golden Book Awards, Nexus – Peer Review Magazine, Quill Compendium, and its proud partners Dream Holiday Yachts PC, Theta Creatives Co., and SecQure Technologies.

Organised by the Writers Capital International Foundation, a UN-registered and ISO-certified non-profit organisation, the Summit stands as a global platform for intellectual collaboration, cultural diplomacy, and the recognition of humanitarian ideals in a rapidly changing world.
