A Brussels-based global media outlet reporting on the travel and tourism industry has celebrates its 5th anniversary.
The journey of Travel Tomorrow began on 17 June 2020, just three months into the Covid-19 pandemic.
As travel restrictions reshaped the world, the title emerged as a key source of timely, reliable news for travellers seeking clarity amid uncertainty.
A Brussels-based media commentator told this site, “In the five years since its launch, Travel Tomorrow has grown into a trusted voice in the global travel and tourism industry, publishing daily news in English.
“With a clear editorial focus on responsible tourism, transport, mobility, climate action, energy, culture, food and drinks, lifestyle, and hospitality, it continues to inspire a new generation of conscious travellers.
“We created Travel Tomorrow to spark a conversation about the future of travel when the world came to a halt,” said António Buscardini, its founder and Editor-in-Chief.
“Five years later, we’ve earned our place in the travel and tourism landscape by delivering meaningful, relevant stories that inform travellers and give voice to industry stakeholders.”
The title has now surpassed 25 million visitors, reflecting the outlet’s growing global reach and impact. The audience spans from the US to Asia, but remains strongly anchored in the EU, where 65% of its readership is based.
To commemorate the occasion, it will launch a cycle of podcast series highlighting landmark stories from the travel and tourism industry while also looking ahead to the trends shaping the next decade of travel.
