BROOKLYN, NY – Coney Island AHEPA Chapter 200 held its annual Christmas Dinner on December 13. The event, which was cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was held at Perry’s Restaurant, a member favorite. Perry’s, owned by Brother Perry Kokotas, father (and fellow Ahepan) of Supreme President Jimmy Kokotas, is the go-to place for many of the chapter’s monthly meetings.
The event was a big success and saw the gathering of many Brothers, their families and friends who celebrated being together, some for the first time in a year, and enjoy a wonderful spread prepared by the professional staff at Perry’s. Fr. Eugene Pappas of Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Church in Brooklyn who is a great supporter of AHEPA and of the Coney Island Chapter in particular, led the prayer before the meal.
All dinner guests were very pleased and excited to get together once again and enjoy each other’s company and look forward to the chapter’s next public event.
