Cyprus provides €200,000 humanitarian aid to Nepal

The Republic of Cyprus is providing €200,000 as humanitarian aid to Nepal to help address the impact of the recent floods through “CyprusAid”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday.

According to a post by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on X, the aid will be allocated to the UN Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) and UNICEF to help meet the immediate needs of affected families and support humanitarian efforts on the ground.

“International solidarity and humanitarian action remain fundamental principles of the foreign policy of the Republic of Cyprus,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
