Greece ranks 45th among 133 economies internationally in the latest Global Innovation Index and 25th in the European Union Digital Economy and Society Index, with significant deviations from the European average in several subcategories, according to a study by the Center for Liberal Studies (KEFiM) in collaboration with the Epicenter network of think tanks.

Despite its good performance in the field of human capital and significant digitalization reforms and encouragement of innovation with targeted tax incentives, the country ranks low in market development, business development and digital public services.
