Greek Cultural & Gastronomic Week

The Member of the European Parliament and member of the New Democracy political party, Stelios Kypouropoulos, in collaboration with the Greek Lyceum of Brussels and the Greek Community of Brussels, will organize an exhibition titled “Greek Cultural & Gastronomic Week” at the European Parliament in the PAUL-HENRI SPAAK / Floor 1 YEHUDI MENUHIN Area from Monday, February 19 to Friday, February 23, 2024.

The exhibition’s opening ceremony will take place on Monday, February 19 at 18:00 (CET), during which there will be a presentation of Greek traditional costumes and dances by the Greek Lyceum of Brussels.

The exhibition will feature traditional Greek costumes from all over Greece, as well as products with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) from the regions of Epirus, Western Greece, Southern Aegean, and Crete. The purpose of the exhibition is to showcase Greek culture through the display of rich Greek traditional costumes and products.

The exhibition is expected to be visited by Members of the European Parliament, scientific collaborators, and guest visitors from the Greek Community of Belgium throughout the entire week.
