It’s jingle all the way with a calendar packed with festive outings, including the ‘Cyprus Christmas Villages’ – eight villages selected by the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Tourism to bring festive cheer across the island until January 6, 2025.
Mountainous Lefkara and coastal Kiti have been selected for Larnaka region’s ‘Cyprus Christmas Villages’, offering two very unique but equally magical Christmas experiences. And with a different programme of entertainment and activities every day, no two visits are the same!
So, what can visitors expect? Colourfully decorated wooden kiosks selling festive goodies – from traditional, local produce to handicrafts create a Christmas market atmosphere that is enhanced by music, song, dance, workshops and fun children’s crafts and entertainment. Naturally, it wouldn’t be a Christmas event without visits from Santa… and his cheeky elves!
Be sure to check the programmes for the dates you want to visit. Find out more by visiting www.facebook.com/SanTaLefkara or www.visitcyprus.com/christmas-villages
Visitors to Larnaka city – both young and old – will also delight in the festive fairground at Europe Square. Larnaca Christmas Land operates until January 6, 2025 and features fairground rides and a programme of entertainment on set days. And to end the year, Larnaka Municipality will be ringing in 2025 with its annual music and fireworks event at Foinikoudes (Palm Tree) Promenade on December 31, starting at 11pm.
