Overseas Cypriots assured that they will continue working to put pressure on Turkey to provide information and allow access to data related to the issue of missing persons.
President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides reiterated today that the Government approaches the missing persons’ issue with urgency as “time is running out.”
Cyprus’ House President, Annita Demetriou, said on Thursday she would send a letter to the Council of Europe (CoE) about the issue of missing persons and call on the human rights organisation to help so that the issue is brought to the fore.
