A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck off the coast of Cyprus early Sunday morning, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The quake occurred at 1:02 a.m. local time (22:02 UTC on Sept. 6) at a depth of 13 kilometers. Its epicenter was located about 23 kilometers northeast of Limassol and 16 kilometers northeast of Mouttagiaka.
