Melbourne content creator Adelle Petropoulos is making a strong entrance into the podcasting world, with her debut show Pretty Sure quickly becoming one of the city’s standout female-led productions, according to heraldsun.com.au

Launched last month, Pretty Sure spent three consecutive weeks as the No. 1 trending podcast, marking a rapid start for Petropoulos and her growing presence in digital media.

Petropoulos is part of the One Daydream Network, a new publishing partnership with Nova Entertainment that is expanding a portfolio of podcasts created by Melbourne women.

The network also includes shows from creators Hannah Dal Sasso and Izzy Armitage.

For Petropoulos, podcasting offers an opportunity to build a platform on her own terms while connecting directly with her audience.

She said she was “so lucky I have the space in the media as a female that’s truly my own”.

One Daydream Network founder and chief executive Pru Corrigan said podcasting was creating new opportunities for women to control their stories and conversations.

“It gives women space, time and an authentic voice,’’ she said.

The partnership with Nova will support the growth of Petropoulos’ Pretty Sure and the network’s other titles, as podcasting continues to reshape how female creators reach and engage audiences.
