Greece and the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) were at the center of international tourism interest at one of the world’s largest tourism exhibitions, ITB Berlin 2025, from Tuesday to Thursday, receiving particularly encouraging messages about a new large increase in tourist flows from Germany.

Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni and the general secretary of the GNTO, Andreas Fiorentinos, visited the fair. The GNTO participated in the exhibition with an impressive 1,007-square meter pavilion and the largest delegation in recent years, consisting of a total of 87 co-exhibitors, including Greek tourism businesses, regions and municipalities.

A new upward trend in Greek tourism in the German market is predicted, at a double-digit growth rate in tourism figures from Germany for 2025.
